What is Club Volleyball?
Club volleyball is designed to supplement the volleyball activities offered in schools.  It affords interested girls the opportunity to receive advanced training and compete in volleyball at a high level against girls of the same age or older.  It also gives girls the chance to be seen by college scouts, get recruited and maybe even receive a college scholarship playing the sport they love.

These predominantly private clubs are comprised of girls from elememtary, middle and high schools from a specific geographical area.  These clubs compete within a "region".  Ours is the Northern Cal Region, which encompasses clubs from Bakersfield to San Francisco.  Individual teams are divided into age groups: 12 & Under; 14 & Under; 16 & Under and 18 & Under Divisions.  All clubs fall under the jurisdiction and guidance of the United States Volleyball Association (USVBA), which is the governing body for volleyball in the United States, including the Olympic Team & US National Program.

Sequoia Crush is in its 19th year of developing players for competition at middle school, high school, college and national levels.  Many of our former players, as high school seniors, have earned volleyball scholarships to Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and NAIA Colleges and Universities.
